This story is about a boy named Stenley Yelnats who is falsely 
accused and convicted of a crime he did not commit.

The narrative essentially takes place at camp green lake which is a adolescent detention center. Camp Green Lake is a harsh place where each boy is forced to dig one 5 feet by 5 feet by 5 feet hole each day in the scorching heat.
