| Frindle is the story of a boy's battle
for a new word in the face of a lot of opposition from his teachers.
The story is set around the community of
Lincoln Elementary school in the USA and a crisis comes when the children
change the word pen to frindle.
This narrative will appeal to children with a
wild imagination and teachers who want to teach etymology.
Most of our class felt the book
was OK but we wouldn't recommend it to our friends.
